Isopropyl Alcohol

Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is a colorless, flammable liquid with a strong odor, commonly used in household cleaning products. It has excellent solubility and volatility, effectively removing stains and grease, making it widely used in detergents, disinfectants, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. In cleaners, IPA acts as the main solvent, quickly dissolving dirt and evaporating without residue. Its superior bactericidal properties make it a common ingredient in hand sanitizers and surface disinfectants. While IPA is low in toxicity to humans, prolonged contact and inhalation should be avoided.
